catt Heron exploring in
Second Life
Second Life is a virtual
metaverse where people rent land and the entire world is built by the players
who also often do business there. Currently growing by leaps and bounds the
unfettered creative environment of Second Life is a natural fit with the unique
set of multimedia skills which Catt Avery has been cultivating over the years.
Its no wonder since the project arose out of a group discussion she participated
in from the original internet salon project "The Well" in Gate 5 Sausalto
in 1989.
Currently completing a Bachelors Degree in Multimedia Presentation of Scientific Concepts from Humboldt State University, Catt Avery has been creating web content and working with photoshop for over a decade, a Fine Art degree in Photography from HSU is also pending.
For the last four years
Catt has primarily been writing online for the international sustainability
community, and raising her daughters in an electronic cottage in Humboldt
County California.
